Born in Augusta, GA, I experienced the strange, sometimes wonderful, often bewildering childhood of a Korean girl growing up in the deep south.
Upon graduating high school, my frugal Asian gene led me straight to the University of Georgia-to take full advantage of the Hope Scholarship; why not. In one of the best plot twists of my life, I found THE college life I never knew I wanted-eventually even graduating with a BA in English Lit.
Shortly thereafter, I married that guy below in 2005 (otherwise known as John). We were as clueless as could be as the first of our set to tie the knot, and always shed a few angry tears when we look at our crappy wedding photos; hence, the little make up photoshoot celebrating our 7 year anniversary that I’ve included below.
Though we had grand plans of living it up as a hip, young married couple, we found ourselves pregnant three months in with our very special first born, Roenne Easter Saddington, who was absolutely, never ever an accident. No. After spending about three years recovering from shock, we found ourselves willing to bow to the next tyrant, and behold #2, Arden Belle Saddington (those silly goobers in the last photo).
Because: life, 6 years later, enter: third plot tornado-Oliver Finn Saddington, the missing clown in our family circus! 🦆🦆🤡
I’ve had a wide variety of professional experience from launching the international office of KIKA as second in command of two employees to interning with Passion Conferences, and even learning the fine art of the Barista at Starbucks for a brief stint, but these days I just keep it real doing, as you know, all the real things with the real house clowns of San Francisco. Really.
Thanks for visiting!
